History

  1. Diagnose with BPH in Sept 2008.
  2. Started taking medications Nov. 1, 2008
  3. Stop Flomax after 3.5 months
  4. Reduced Avodart dosage from daily to 3x/week after 4.5 months.
  5. Started using Saw Palmetto and Avodart
  6. Reduced Avodart dosage from daily to 2x/week after 3.5 months.

Works right away. BPH symptoms improved within 3 days. Used to get up at least 2 times a night to pee. Getting up to pee reduced to 1 a night.

Symptoms did not get worse even after stopping Flomax.
Saw palmetto 2009-04-01 on-going

Taking both Avodart (2x/week) and Saw palmetto (daily)

Did not notice any symptoms worsening or adverse side-effects (as of 2009-06-16)
